Why Real-Time Visibility?

Before looking to the future, we must look to the past. As much as we all want to forget 2020, it has some valuable lessons to teach us about our logistics and supply chain operations. According to respondents, the top three challenges they encountered in 2020 were poor visibility into operations, a lack of actionable data/intelligence, and what they found to be complex or inefficient processes. Today, how quickly businesses respond to disruption and how much of their operations is digitized is what sets them apart from the competition.

Setting the bar high

According to the survey, the biggest benefit that RTV has to bring to the table is enhanced operational efficiency, followed by customer satisfaction and increased agility, flexibility, and resilience. The fourth benefit was increased sustainability, and improved business intelligence was seen to be both the fifth and sixth expected benefit of using RTV.
