#TruckerHeroes
It’s a wrap!
We want to promote our carrier partners and highlight the strong partnerships we have created as we work towards digitising the supply chain. What better way to shout about these relationships, than with a unique wrap for trailers – designed in collaboration with the carriers we care about.
This exciting and fun initiative aims to raise awareness and provide a platform for different actors in the supply chain to share insights into their daily business.
Each month, we pick a different Trucker Hero, who help us design their own wrap. We record the truck wrapping process and interview the carriers, which we then share on our social media channels, using the hashtag #TruckerHeroes.
By giving a voice to our carrier partners, we can increase their visibility to shippers and provide them with new business opportunities.

Nestlé and Rail Cargo Group
Whether goods are on the road or on the rail tracks, Transporeon Visibility Hub provides complete visibility for each leg of any journey. Together, Nestlé Purina and Rail Cargo Group employ our pioneering solution to facilitate multimodal transportation, a first for railways – and now you can get a glimpse at what this looks like in real life as loading begins at the Nestlé factory in Bük, Hungary, the truck travels to Bratislava, and the trailer takes to the rail tracks onward to its final destination in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Recognised by the Austrian Logistics Network Association with the Austrian Logistics Award 2024, this project is considered as a cornerstone for enabling more rail and multimodal transport routes. Won over by the power of enabling more firms to switch to less CO2-intensive transport options, the expert jury selected Transporeon and Rail Cargo Group to receive the coveted award.
Intermodal routes represent a more sustainable logistics strategy, powered by unrivalled technological support available in the form of our Visibility Hub.

Not only do rail routes offer a more environmentally-friendly solution, this choice also helps reduce road congestion and represents a safer alternative to road transports.
Rail Cargo Group Signals a Greener Future
#TruckerHeroes Stories
Present in 18 countries, Rail Cargo Group shapes the railway forwarding industry across Europe and Asia with the support of 6,000 logistics professionals. As one of the most widely recognised and reliable railway forwarders, Rail Cargo Group seized the opportunity to get involved in this unique collaboration with Transporeon and the huge number of large industrial companies that want to manage their transport in a more efficient and sustainable way. In this way they are pioneering a new alternative to road transportation; a commendable approach that has already acquired the Austrian Logistics Award 2024 as the first of its kind in Europe.
Aligned with CountEmissionsEU, Rail Cargo Group’s CO2 emission footprint calculator makes it easy for customers to see the positive difference achieved by combining long haul rail transports with the flexibility of road. In parallel, customers can track shipments any time thanks to real-time end-to-end multimodal visibility powered by Transporeon Visibility Hub. In tandem, these tools represent vital components on the quest to green logistics.
The brakes are finally off for companies that were previously stopped in their tracks in their attempts to shift to rail as a more sustainable mode of transport – a green signal ahead has never before proven so pivotal for the future of the supply chain and our precious environment.
