Network Insights evolution: introducing self-subscription

Transforming the Network Insights experience

At Transporeon, we are committed to continuously improving our solutions to better serve your logistics and analytics needs. Over the next few weeks, Network Insights will undergo a major transformation with the introduction of self-subscription functionality, giving customers full control over activating and managing their subscriptions. This change marks a significant step forward in streamlining user access, ensuring greater flexibility, and reducing reliance on manual activation processes.

What’s changing?

Two key updates will reshape how customers interact with and manage Network Insights:

1. Self-subscription for product activation and management

The introduction of self-subscription allows company administrators to:

  • Independently activate Network Insights for their organisation, without requiring sales or customer support assistance.

  • Manage user subscriptions by adding, removing, or modifying access levels as business needs evolve.

  • Assign and adjust service plans (Standard or PRO) on demand, ensuring users have the right access level at all times.

With self-subscription, companies gain the autonomy to configure Network Insights exactly how they prefer – quickly, efficiently, and without external dependencies.

2. Subscription-based access model

Starting in Q1 2025, Network Insights will transition fully to a subscription-based model.

Customers will be able to select between:

  • Standard Plan: An entry-level subscription that includes essential reporting and analytics capabilities.

  • PRO Plan: A premium subscription offering extended analytics, greater data access and advanced functionality.

All subscriptions will now be managed directly within Network Insights, allowing organisations to make adjustments as their team and data needs grow.

The power of self-subscription

  • Faster activation: No waiting times for approvals or manual setup, reducing onboarding time significantly.

  • Greater flexibility: Administrators can add or remove users, switch between plans and adapt access levels dynamically.

  • Full transparency: Organisations gain better visibility into their active subscriptions, usage and associated costs.

How subscription management works

With self-subscription, every organisation is responsible for managing its own Network Insights acces

1. Activating Network Insights

  • Company administrators can activate the product directly from the platform.
  • Organisations that are new to Network Insights will begin with a 30-day PRO trial.

2. Managing users and subscriptions

  • Administrators can add or remove users at any time.

  • Service plans (Standard or PRO) can be assigned, adjusted, or reassigned based on business needs.

3. Transitioning from Trial to Subscription

  • Before the trial ends, administrators must confirm user subscriptions to ensure uninterrupted access.

  • Users without an assigned subscription will lose access once the trial expire

To support self-subscription, Network Insights offers two service levels:

Organisations can mix and match Standard and PRO users within the same account, giving them the flexibility to balance cost efficiency with advanced analytics needs.

Transitioning to the new model

To ensure a smooth transition, customers should be aware of the following:

  1. Transition period: When self-subscription launches, Transporeon customers will enter a 30-day transition period.

  2. Managing subscriptions: After the transition period, all users must have a confirmed subscription (Standard or PRO) to continue to access Network Insights.

  3. Ongoing support: While self-subscription is designed to make Network Insights users self-reliant, our sales and support teams will remain available to answer any questions and guide customers through the setup process if needed.

What’s next?

To prepare for the transition, organisations should:

  • Identify administrators: Ensure the right people have the necessary administrative access to manage subscriptions.

  • Evaluate needs: Determine which users require Standard or PRO access based on their reporting and analytics needs.

  • Leverage the transition period: Use the transition period to explore all features and confirm the best setup before making subscription decisions.

Empowering the future of Network Insights

The introduction of self-subscription marks a major milestone in making Network Insights more accessible, efficient and flexible. By shifting to an on-demand model, customers gain greater autonomy over their analytics experience - without the need for complex activation processes.
